This Halloween, the Theta Tau Chapter of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority at UNC-Chapel Hill hosted their 4th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon and invited Debbie Horwitz to be the featured speaker. Dr. Lisa Carey, Medical Director of the Breast Cancer Center at UNC Hospitals was the opening speaker. Debbie has been involved in ZTA's Breast Cancer Awareness events in the past and was so excited to continue being a part of this effort that is so vital in getting young women to learn more about the processes of diagnosis, surgery, and the support systems that are available for those dealing with breast cancer and breast reconstruction.
