New Mexico State University - Tough Enough To Wear Pink

Las Cruces, New Mexico. October 2010

During the first week of October, Project Founder Debbie Horwitz, spoke to a very supportive crowd at New Mexico State University's Tough Enough To Wear Pink event. Tough Enough To Wear Pink is a volunteer group dedicated to raising breast cancer awareness, supporting early intervention measures, and raising funds for cancer research. After the event, Debbie met with Tough Enough To Wear Pink committee members, NMSU staff involved in the medical community, and other volunteers for breast cancer awareness. English and Spanish versions of the Myself: Together Again booklets were placed in numerous clinics and hospitals in the community. Click on read more to see photos from the event.
