In May 2010, Debbie Horwitz was joined by over 300 friends, sponsors, and supporters in Raleigh, North Carolina to celebrate Myself: Together Again's 5th Year Anniversary. M:TA began in 2006 as part of a Susan G. Komen North Carolina Affiliate grant funded project and became a public charity in December of 2007.
Myself: Together Again has taken its story all over the nation and placed thousands of M:TA booklets in various clinics and hospitals. Our hope is that one woman's story and a strong, collective effort from the community can provide more knowledge, support, and resources for women who take on the fight against breast cancer and who consider breast reconstruction procedures.
